TS Nexgen’s largest shareholder, TS Bio (CEO Lee Hyung-seung), announced on the 23rd that it held an opening ceremony for the TS BIO CELL COMPLEX at the main campus of Seoul Yes Hospital.

TS Bio and Seoul Yes Hospital signed an MOU late last year to conduct joint research and cooperation on cell therapies utilizing NK cells, dendritic cells, and adipose-derived stem cells, agreeing to conduct clinical trials, share data, and facilitate the exchange of researchers between the two institutions.

The newly opened TS BIO CELL COMPLEX aims to operate as a comprehensive system—in accordance with the Advanced Regenerative Bio Act—covering diagnosis, cell isolation, storage, supply, and treatment through TS BIO’s research institute and partner hospitals both domestically and internationally. It is expected to contribute to improving patients’ quality of life through synergies derived from the extensive treatment cases and expertise of TS BIO and Seoul Yes Hospital.

In his commemorative address, TS BIO CEO Lee Hyung-seung stated, "The opening of the first TS BIO CELL COMPLEX is the result of collaboration between the two institutions following the signing of an MOU last year," he said. "We expect that the safety and efficacy of domestic procedures (SVF), cell storage, and utilization will be further enhanced through TS BIO’s TCC regenerative medicine system, and we hope that the research partnership between the two institutions will become even more active."

Lee Gil-yong, Chief Medical Officer of Seoul Yes Hospital, remarked, “We must conduct diverse research to find new and effective treatments against various viruses and diseases.” He continued, “With the opening of the TS BIO CELL COMPLEX, patients can now improve their health and quality of life through this new medical biotechnology system, and even prepare for future diseases.”

The opening ceremony for the TS BIO CELL COMPLEX, following the signing of the MOU, holds significance as it marks the establishment of a cooperative relationship between the two institutions and the commencement of operations for a facility designed to promote health and facilitate research collaboration through new regenerative medicine and medical bio-systems.
